Hi, I’m Lee Warren
I help people fall in love with existence through preparing for death.
I have helped hundreds of folks, of all ages and stages, achieve clarity about their end-of-life wishes, come into alignment with their own wisdom regarding death, and embrace the sacredness of their existential journey.
Unfortunately, without some kind of guidance most of us see death as the enemy, stay in denial regarding end-of-life preparation, and remain ill-informed and confused about death-related decisions.
This is painful, anxiety-producing, and generally unnecessary.
Together we can change the conversation about death. From one of fear and avoidance to a more death literate, death informed, death accepting, and death positive worldview.
As death becomes sacred, all aspects of life are seen as sacred. And this paves the way for more supportive, coherent, and integrative approaches to this inevitable and natural part of life.
These principles are a synthesis of very accessible and innate truths that apply to ALL of us. May they support you in your journey.

Lee Warren is a death educator, end-of-life preparation guide, writer, mystic, and community builder.
She was fortunate to learn about dying within the context of a village. Lee spent 30 years as a co-creator and resident of a rural ecovillage in Southern Appalachia, where in addition to learning about sustainable and reverential ways to engage with life, she participated in collective approaches to death-care.
Over the course of two years, from 2016 to 2018, the close-knit village of 125 people experienced the decline and death of six members ranging in ages from 2 to 98. These deaths, and the generous people who experienced them, offered an incredible opportunity to reweave a more holistic approach to end-of-life than the one generally offered to us. The outcome of stewarding those deaths, together as a community, including after-death care, home funerals, and home burials, was life changing and heart opening for all involved.
As a result, Lee helps folks who are engaged in a death and dying process, for themselves or a loved one, who are confused about end-of-life options and isolated in their decision making, to overcome their fear of death by being both internally and externally prepared. She is a huge advocate for a more death literate, death informed, death accepting, and death positive worldview which ultimately leads to a profound trust of the life/death/life mysteries.
So glad you asked!
- Principles are not rules but they do offer a gentle structure.
- Principles are meant to provide guidance and light the way.
- Principles are holographic in that each one represents the whole and the whole is also represented in the part.
- Principles are dynamic, which means there’s a myriad of interpretations depending on the person contemplating and there are layers and layers of depth to them.
- Principles work together harmoniously and synergistic and at times they can be contradictory. Much like life.
- These principles belong as much to you as they do to me – and as a result we all make them better for the collective as we work with them.
