Grief & Eros is a participatory, community-based ritual container where we explore the shared pathways of loss through somatic practice, sound, movement, and the cultivation of the erotic life-force. Rooted in the following understandings:
- Grief is a gift for the life we’ve been given,
- We never grieve alone,
- Grief and Eros run the same neural and fascial pathways in the body,
this experience invites a connected, embodied community to co-create a village for the weekend, where we tend both our sorrow and our aliveness as they move as waves through the body.
As we metabolize our personal pain, loss, and grief, we serve the community as the community serves us. The result is deeper intimacy with self and others, as well as forging the resilience necessary to process our losses and show up as ecstatically alive beings.
